Tumaini Visit 2017

Tumaini Crafters and the parishioners at St. Mary's Anglican Church welcomed Alex Nyamkara from Tanzania.  He spoke about the wonderful work Tumaini is doing in Kagera, and expressed sincere thanks for the support of orphans and poor families. Wayne LaGroix sponsored his flight from Tanzania to Canada, and drove him to Fort MacMurray, Kamloops, Gold River, Nanoose Bay and Sherwood Park. From the pulpit, Alex detailed his journey from being an orphan through his education process thanks to Tumaini to becoming a coordinator for Tumaini's Murgwanza office in Tanzania during the church service.  A tea and presentation of Tumaini's work in Kagera followed in the afternoon.
